Variable Rate Spreading

Fert Solutions is very proud to be able to offer our clients the option of variable rate spreading. We put the fertiliser exactly where the soil has the greatest need, improving the fertility of areas without the need to apply excess fertiliser on areas that already have a high fertility level. Balancing the needs of the soil with variable rate spreading is going to provide better coverage while utilising less fertiliser.

 

Our variable rate spreading machine will mix granular or liquid fertiliser with water. Once the fertiliser is thoroughly mixed, we spray it on, giving the plants immediate access to the fertiliser, which in turn lowers the losses from leaching and volatilisation. Since the fertiliser is already dissolved, once it is sprayed on, there isn’t any delay before it is absorbed. Dryland farms don’t need to wait for rain, since the solution is liquid it washes in automatically.

Our tractors use GPS Autosteer to guarantee accurate coverage, and we offer TracMap Proof of Placement. Our machines use onboard scales to validate the amount of fertiliser used.
